How do I place an order?

Can I ship an order to an address outside the USA?

Unfortunately, the answer is no.  The manufacturer ships orders to addresses only within the United States.

Are the colors I see on my computer screen exactly correct?

The tapestries are photographed in high resolution to give the best color representation possible.  But, computer screens vary in color representation; therefore, the tapestry items you purchase many vary slightly in color from the colors you see on your computer screen.

When will the items be shipped?  Can I pay for overnight shipping?

If the tapestry is in stock, the order is processed and packed by Manual Woodworkers & Weavers within 2 business days.      Then, the tapestry is shipped directly to you by UPS Ground which may take 5-7 days.  If the tapestry is not in stock (sold out), you will be notified by email or phone.  If the tapestry is not in stock, you may wait for the tapestry to become available (usually two to four weeks), or you may request a complete refund of your money.  Tapestries are specialty items and woven in small batches; therefore, supplies of popular tapestries may quickly sell.

Sorry, no overnight shipping is available.  The only way to immediately purchase a tapestry throw or wall hanging, is to find the tapestry in a store in your community.  Unfortunately, tapestry items are hard to find in stores, and that is why TapestryArtwork.com offers tapestry products to you on our website.  Tapestries are beautiful speciality items that most retail stores do not stock.

How do I know if an item is out of stock?

If an item is out of stock, a representative from TapestryArtwork.com will email or call you upon receiving your order.   You will be given the choice to wait for the tapestry to become available (usually two to four weeks), or you may receive a complete refund of your money.

Do I pay sales tax?

No. Customers outside the state of California do not pay sales tax.
Yes. Customers inside the state of California pay sales tax of 8% (2016).

What are packing and shipping costs for the tapestries?

Over $100 = FREE packing and shipping
$51 to $99.99 = $6
$41 to $50.99 = $8
$31 to $40.99 = $10
$21 to $30.99 = $12
Up to $20.99 = $14

What if an item is damaged in shipment?

Damaged or defective items may be exchanged within 10 days of delivery for a replacement, or your money may be refunded.  Email info@tapestryartwork.com for:  1) Return Authorization Number (RAN), and  2) Return mailing label (mailed to you by the manufacturer).  Shipments without a RAN are not accepted by the manufacturer.

Are tapestries made in the USA?

Tapestry throws and tapestry wall hangings are manufacturered in the USA and designed by the best artisans available. Manual Woodworkers & Weavers is located in the mountains of North Carolina and ranked #1 in home decor by Gift Beat magazine.

Can I create a tapestry throw or wall hanging?

When I send the tapestry as a gift, may I send a card?

Card cannot be sent inside the tapestry shipment since the tapestries are shipped directly from the manufacturer. Card can be sent before the tapestry shipment letting the person know to expect a special gift from you to be delivered to their home via UPS.  If you want a card sent, leave us a note about the type of card (birthday, retirement, sympathy, bereavement, or other) and your inside-the-card message as you check out with the shopping cart.
